Classes canceled at LISD due to water boil notice....
Due to a boil water notice issued by the City of Laredo late Thursday evening, Laredo ISD is cancelling classes at all of its campuses on Friday, October 11, 2024.
Classes for LISD are tentatively planned to resume for all students on Tuesday, October 15, as Monday, October 14, is a Staff Development Day for all LISD employees. Therefore there will be no classes for LISD students on Monday, October 14.
LISD will closely monitor the situation with city officials and provide additional updates regarding next week’s operations on LISD’s social media.

October 14 - October 18: Safety Week
October 21 - October 25: Red Ribbon Week

The faculty and students at GECHS wore yellow and gold attire to demonstrate our unwavering support for children and families fighting cancer. We also honored the memory of our beloved Camila Menchaca.
The robotics team is gearing up for their first competition, scheduled for October 19. Excitement is building as the team works on their preparations and strategies to showcase their skills.
