Dear Heights Hawks, Welcome back to Heights Elementary School, the pride of Central Laredo! I hope you all had a wonderful, restful, and fun-filled summer break. A new school year brings fresh starts, exciting challenges, and endless opportunities to gain experience and grow. Whether you are returning to familiar hallways or joining our school family for the first time, we are so thrilled to have you here. Here are a few important reminders as we prepare for day one: • First Day of School: August 10, 2026 • Breakfast Schedule: 7:10 – 7:40 AM • School Start Time: 7:45 AM • School Dismissal Time for All Grades: 3:05 PM • What to Bring: Notebook, pencils, colors, positive attitude, smiles and more. • First Week Focus: We will spend our first few days getting to know each other, setting goals, and getting familiar with our classroom routines and campus and classroom rules. Remember, your teachers and staff are here to support you every step of the way. Bring your curiosity, your kindness, and your enthusiasm. Let us make this school year our best one yet!
