Dear Hawks Families and Students, As the leaves begin to turn and fall and the cooler weather sets in, I want to take a moment to welcome you all into the beautiful autumn season at Heights Elementary. Autumn is always a special time of year in our school community—a season that brings a fresh wave of energy, focus, and celebration of the hard work our students have put in since the start of the school year. To our students: I am so proud of the enthusiasm, curiosity, and effort you bring to your classrooms every day. Whether you are diving into new projects, participating in fall sports and extracurricular activities, or simply helping a classmate, your growth is inspiring. Keep reaching high, staying curious, and supporting one another as the quarter continues. To our parents and guardians: Thank you for your continued partnership, trust, and active involvement in our school community. Education is a collaborative journey, and your support at home—from encouraging daily reading to attending school events—makes a world of difference in your child's success. Our next opportunity to meet with teachers is during our annual American Education Week Open House scheduled for November 4, 2026. On this day, you will be able to speak with teachers concerning the academic progress of your child or children as report cards will be issued. The schedule for this day is: 8:30 – 11:30 AM and 1:00 – 4:00 PM. Thank you once again for making Heights Elementary School such a wonderful place to learn and grow.
