Principal's Message

Message from the Principal

Dear Parents,

Half of the school year is over.  How fast it has gone.  The 5th Six weeks period brings with it a sense of urgency as this marks the beginning of the formal state assessment programs including TELPAS and STAAR.  Parents need to ensure that their children are logging in on time and attending classes on a daily basis.  As a reminder, students should be logged in to their classes from 7:45 – 3:30 on Monday- Thursday and 7:45 – 3:15 on Friday using Google Meets, Class Dojo, and Remind 101.    Cameras need to be on so that your children can be participating with their teachers in class.  This is not optional, it is a requirement.

In addition, everyone must continue to follow the CDC protocols of wearing a mask, practicing social distance, and washing and sanitizing hands often throughout the day in order to keep our school safe.   Students and families must maintain their commitment to keeping the school nurse (273-3610) informed about reporting COVID-like symptoms, and staying home when feeling sick.

We look forward to working with you and having your continued support during the spring semester.  Please do not hesitate to call the school with any suggestions or concerns.  Please stay healthy and safe.

Adriana Padilla
